BAYO (A.K.A. EDUARDO FLORES), MEXICO CITY, 1976

A series of intricate pencil drawings that intend to take the viewer through a vigorous search for that “something” that endangers our existence, portrayed by absurd juxtapositions of allegories. From household items to wild animals, emotionally stressed subjects show their intriguing narratives with the purpose of solving a doubt that sometimes can’t be found outside, but deep down ourselves.

Bayo (Eduardo Flores) is a Mexican visual artist known for his highly detailed black and white pencil drawings of bizarre characters and intense subject matters. His work has been in galleries in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Mexico, and the United States.
